How much sleep does your family really need?

Good sleep supports mood, immunity, weight, and focus at every age — yet most of us get too little. As a general guide, school-age kids need 9–12 hours, teens 8–10, and adults 7–9 hours per night.
Protect it with a consistent schedule (even on weekends), a wind-down routine, a cool dark room, and screens off an hour before bed. Caffeine after midday and late heavy meals are common sleep stealers.
If you or your child snore loudly, wake unrefreshed, or struggle to fall asleep most nights, it is worth a visit. Sleep problems are common and very treatable — and better sleep changes how the whole day feels.
