A parent’s guide to childhood vaccines
June 28, 2026 ·Daystar Family Care
Childhood vaccines protect against more than a dozen serious illnesses, and the recommended schedule is timed to give protection exactly when children need it most. Each vaccine is studied carefully for safety before it is recommended.
Mild soreness, fussiness, or a low fever for a day or two is normal and shows the immune system is responding. You can comfort your child with cuddles, fluids, and label-dose acetaminophen if needed.
If you have questions or want to talk through the schedule, we welcome that conversation — no judgment, just clear answers. Staying on track is one of the most powerful things you can do for your child's health.
